Sheer Blonde
For the European launch of Sheer Blonde, agency Kao Brands asked us for a ‘clubby, beach party’ vibe.
We presented various mixes including Techno and Ayia Napa style UK Garage.
In the end, this Funky House track won the day. Grab your handbags!!
Everybody's Different
We were asked to compose a distinctive track to emphasise the individuality of the 20,000+ visitors to the Ideal Home Show Scotland.
We created an old school ‘Rhumba’ backing, added a cheeky tune on vibes and hit the final graphic with a Cuban style brass section.
Brilliant Brunette
John Frieda asked us for a funky, sophisticated groove for the world-wide launch of "Brilliant Brunette".
Client feedback has been extremely positive including "in Germany people love your music - they've been calling the office asking where to buy it!".
The ad has aired widely in the UK, Europe, S. Africa & Australia.
20,000 Reasons
For premium brand Bioré, Director David Freeman wanted to communicate a message of ‘less is more’.
To enhance the warmth and beauty of the pictures, we created an Ibiza Ambient style track with soft, pulsing bass, gentle synth melody, rhythmic delays and minimal drums & percussion.
Escape the Mundane
Director David McLelland briefed a timeless, ubiquitous piece for this ‘before & after’ commercial.
For the downbeat opening we blended bluesy acoustic and electric guitars.
The transition to a sparkling white beach is mirrored with classic, uplifting Jazz reminiscent of Nat King Cole.
No one's Hurt
The first ‘Oh no... crash!’ commercial, needed a quirky, original feel.
We created several initial ideas for Director Adrian MacFarlane who settled on this Jazz trio feel. We used real double bass, brush played drums and unusually for a Jazz setting, added marimba as a lead instrument.
